  • UIImageOrientationUp
  • UIImageOrientationDown (rotate 180 degree)
  • UIImageOrientationLeft (rotate 90 degree counterclockwise)
  • UIImageOrientationRight (rotate 90 degree clockwise)
  • UIImageOrientationUpMirrored (flipped horizontally)
  • UIImageOrientationDownMirrored (mirror of UIImageOrientationDown)
  • UIImageOrientationLeftMirrored (mirror of UIImageOrientationLeft)
  • UIImageOrientationRightMirrored (mirror of UIImageOrientationRight)

UIImage *testImage = [UIImage imageNamed:@”btn_flipview.png”];
UIImageView *testImageView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:testImage];
testImage.imageOrientation = UIImageOrientationRight;

error: object cannot be set – either read only property or no setter found

warning: type of setter ‘setImageOrientation:’ must be ‘void’ instead of ‘id’
